Covenant Community Services

Covenant Community Services, Inc. is a nonprofit social service organization serving foster children and their families in Kern County. CCSI serves foster children and their families through a variety of programs and services. CCSI is meeting the needs of “hurting and hopeless” children/youth and families through partnerships with local churches, community-based organizations, individuals and businesses. CCSI exists to transform our community with the love of Jesus Christ one child at a time! Building Blocks is the Emancipated Youth housing project that Covenant runs. This is a two year program to help Emancipated foster kids become independent. The biggest need is for mentors to come along side some of these young adults. CareNet is another program within CCSI which provides services and resources to foster children returning to their families and youth leaving the foster care system equipping them for successful transitions.

Non-Financial Needs:

  • Volunteers with a really big heart that is overflowing with love and compassion
  • Gently used (not junk) items like beds, couches, coffee tables, refrigerators, microwaves, TV's, chairs, dressers, stoves, lamps, computers, etc.
