Teen Challenge
Teen Challenge is a non-profit organization that helps men and women break away from addictive behaviors and live a clean, healthy life, while being spiritually alive. It is completely free of charge for those in need. It is the largest non-profit residential recovery program of its kind in the world, with almost 200 centers in the USA and 625 centers in 92 countries. Teen Challenge also conducts drug prevention and education programs in school districts throughout the Southland. Bakersfield has a men's and women's facility and a S.A.Y. Yes learning center for elementary students.
Needs: Toiletries (not hotel size), Laundry detergent, Pillows, Bedding, Paper, Pens, Bibles, G-rated movies and books.
